When I took this class I wasn't sure exactly why I felt so drawn to it and imagery was definitely an unknown for me. I think I just really wanted the healing. And the healing I walked away with would have been more than enough. But it was also so much FUN. I found myself surprised yet truly desiring to incorporate this into my healing practice - and I will. My practice is in the medical field and imagery is a known and used technique where I work. It's really exciting and the peer reviewed research literature is proof that it works. I look forward to incorporating it for my own patients in due time. Thanks Felice for making these techniques more widely available.

I wasn't looking for an additional modality to add to my practice as a clinical therapist, but I am so glad I found this technique! I thought EMDR was the best tool in my box and it used to be the one I used the most. But now that I've completed the Therapeutic Guided Imagery Training it is my preferred way to support my clients. With other modalities my clients would often leave my office raw, opened up and still processing emotional issues on their own. But the experience of Guided Imagery allows for a gentler exploration of the subconscious and leaves the clients feeling relaxed and "put together" in the end. They leave my office smiling, as if they have just been on vacation, rather than something more like a dental chair. I feel like a much nicer therapist, more of a subconscious tour guide, and even gain a bit of the vacation and relaxation myself. And there seems to be just as much long-term benefit and completion to the process as the other tools, if not more.
